Travel Extraordinaire / Terms of useTerms of use

The terms behind the journey.

These terms explain the role Travel Extraordinaire plays when you use the website to plan, compare and continue to independent providers.

Last updated: 5 September 2026

1. Agreement and operator

By using this website, you agree to these terms. The website is operated by Travel Extraordinaire (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/698134/07, of Thornhill Office Park, 94 Bekker Road, Vorna Valley, Midrand, 1686, South Africa. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Client enquiries: enquiries@travelextraordinaire.co.za.

2. Our role

Travel Extraordinaire provides travel-planning, comparison and referral information. In the affiliate model described on this site, we are not the airline, accommodation establishment, tour operator, transfer company, car-hire company, insurer, telecommunications provider or merchant supplying the travel product.

Unless a page expressly says otherwise, we do not accept bookings or payment, issue tickets or vouchers, hold customer funds, set supplier terms, or provide the underlying travel service.

3. Provider contract

When you continue to an independent website and make a booking, your contract is with the provider or merchant identified there. Its price, terms, privacy notice and cancellation rules apply. Questions about payment, confirmation, performance, amendments, cancellations and refunds must be directed to that provider.

4. Prices, availability and information

Travel information can change quickly. Search results, route ideas, descriptions and indicative prices are not a binding offer or guarantee. Confirm the total price, currency, taxes, baggage, inclusions, restrictions, accessibility and availability on the provider’s website before paying.

Automated or AI-assisted planning may be incomplete or mistaken. It is a starting point, not professional immigration, health, safety, insurance, financial or legal advice.

5. Traveller responsibilities

You are responsible for accurate booking details and for checking passports, visas, entry and transit rules, health requirements, insurance, local laws, travel advisories and provider conditions for every traveller. Use authoritative government and provider sources before departure.

6. Affiliate links

Selected links may generate commission for Travel Extraordinaire if you complete a qualifying transaction. See our Affiliate disclosure. Commission does not turn us into the supplier or a party to your provider contract.

7. Acceptable use and intellectual property

You may use the site for lawful personal or internal business travel planning. You may not interfere with its security, scrape it at scale without permission, misrepresent its content, introduce harmful code, or use the service to break the law or another person’s rights. Site branding, original copy and design remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

8. Responsibility and consumer rights

To the extent permitted by law, Travel Extraordinaire is not responsible for an independent provider’s acts or omissions, a provider’s insolvency, changed schedules, denied entry, force majeure, or losses caused by relying on information that you did not verify with an authoritative source.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Any limitation will be interpreted only to the extent permitted by law.

9. Changes, availability and links

We may improve, suspend or withdraw features and update these terms. The date above identifies the current version. External links are provided for convenience and lead to services we do not control.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts, without removing any mandatory consumer forum or remedy available under applicable law.
